Title: Influence of Buddha and Zen on Artistic Expression of Literature in Jin Dynasty
Abstract: Buddhist and Zen's thoughts,concepts,feelings,consciousness and thinking modes exerted an important influence on literary expression form and means in Jin Dynasty that mainly reflected in three aspects: construction of artistic conception,exaggeration and fantasy,and seeking for truth.In Jin Dynasty the literary pursuit for construction of artistic conception was chiefly reflected in poem making characterized by retrieval of Xian Liang or partyaksa,non-obsession,and Jing Sheng Xiang Wai or seeking artistic conception beyond image.Explaining and publicizing means of exaggeration and fantasy and highly figurativeness of ancient codes and records in Buddhism and Zen had a profound and remarkable significance to poem,prose,story and drama of Jin Dynasty.Buddhist ideal of being true based on the theory of vacancy and false existence but emphasizing on grasping truth had some referential use to the creation ideal by Jin Dynasty writers who advocated personal experience and solid evidence in their creation concept.
