Title: The effiect in treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia between microvascular decompression and percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation
Abstract: Objective:To compare the effect in treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia between microvascular decompression and percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation.Methods:100 cases of patients who suffered from primary trigeminal neuralgia(Ⅲ) and their age,symptoms and basic conditions were similar.After being divided into 2 groups,each 50 cases.They received microvascular decompression or percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation respectively.The effects of two kinds of therapy methods to primary trigeminal neuralgia were compared.Results:The effect of microvascular decompression was superior to that of percutaneous radiofrequency thermocoagulation.Conclusion:The treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia with microvascular decompression is a superior operation method under the acceptance of the patients.
