Title: A Comparative Research on the Power of Prosecution Discretionbetween China and Great Britain
Abstract: Making decision on whether or not to prosecute according to the standard of public interests is the main feature for British prosecutors to employ their power of discretion. Comparatively, shortcomings inherent in the designing of the power of discretion enjoyed by Chinese prosecutors, primarily are the unreasonable restrictions. It is therefore suggested that the prosecutorial power in China be improved according to the judicial practice through absorbing the desirable factors in foreign prosecutorial systems.
