Title: Observations on the Efficacy of Shallow Needling Method in Treating Acute Ischemic Stroke Hemiplegia
Abstract: Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of twisting shallow needling method. Methods Sixty patients were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups. The treatment group of 30 cases received a twisting shallow needling method and the control group of 30 cases, conventional acupuncture. Results The total efficacy rate was 90.0% in the treatment group and 66.7% in the control group. The total efficacy rate in TCM syndrome was 86.0% in the treatment group and 66.7% in the control group. There was a statistically significant difference in the total efficacy rate between the two groups (P0.05). Conclusion The twisting shallow needling method has a good therapeutic effect on acute ischemic stroke hemiplegia.
