Abstract: Objective :To observe the clinical curative effect of floating needling treatment for shoulderhand syndrome after stroke. Methods :80 patients were divided into two groups, based on the drug treatment, the treatment group used the floating needling therapy, and the control group used the conventional electric acupuncture. The therapeutic continuous treatment was five days a week, two days rest, three weeks of a course of treatment. After the treatment, clinical efficacy and neurological deficit scores before and after treatmen were observed. The shoulder-hand syndrome Assessment Scale and pain visual analog scale(VAS) were compared. Results :The clinical efficacy of the two groups had statistically significant difference(P0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of floating needling was better than that of the conventional electro-acupuncture group. The neurological deficit scores,shoulder-hand syndrome Assessment Scale score(SHS),pain visual analog scale(VAS)score of floating acupuncture group was statistically significant compared with the control group(P0.05).The clinical efficacy of floating needling treatment on shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke is superior to conventional electro-acupuncture group. Conclusion : Floating needling therapy of shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke has significant effect.
