Title: Clinical Observation on the Combination of Mongolian Medicine and Western Medicine in the Treatment of Children with Bronchial Pneumonia
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of combination of Mongolian medicine and Western medicine in the treatment of children with bronchial pneumonia. Methods: 126 children with bronchial pneumonia were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, the patients in the control group received conventional western medicine treatment, the patients in the observation group also received self-made Mongolian oral medicine. The clinical effects,symptoms, signs and the remission time of the two groups were compared. Results: The effective rate of the observation group was 96.9%, significantly higher than the control group. The disappearance time of cough, expectoration, abatement of fever,anti-asthma and pulmonary rales in the observation group were significantly less than that of control group. Conclusion:Combined methods of treatment of Mongolian medicine and Western medicine can significantly improve clinical curative effect and shorten the treatment time in the treatment of children with bronchial pneumonia.
