Abstract:Three hundred PIC five-crossbreed weaned piglets (25±2 days of age) were allotted into four groups according to four kinds of diets fed in suckling period (Control,2% spray-dried plasma protein,2% pla...Three hundred PIC five-crossbreed weaned piglets (25±2 days of age) were allotted into four groups according to four kinds of diets fed in suckling period (Control,2% spray-dried plasma protein,2% plant mini-peptides and 4% plant mini-peptides added in these four kinds of diets ).Each group consisted of three replications with 25 piglets per replication.This trial was conducted to study the effects of plant mini-peptide added into diets in suckling period on gut flora and intestinal morphology of piglets after weaning.The results indicated that amount of Escherichia coli (E.coli) and Salmonella in gastro intestine of piglets fed with plant mini-peptide were decreased contrast to control group,and amount of Lactobacillus were higher in piglets fed mini-peptide.The villus height (VH) and villus height/crypt depth (VH/CD) were higher in piglets when fed plant mini-peptide in prior period,which was more remarkable when the plant mini-peptide added more.Read More
