Title: Investigation on English Classroom Anxiety of Non-English Majors in National Key Universities
Abstract: Based on random sampling,the investigation on 108 freshmen of non-English major in a Chinese key university were carried out by using foreign language classroom anxiety scale(FLCAS).It deals with the correlation between English classroom anxiety and learners' English achievement and personal experience of learning English.The results indicate that English classroom anxiety of Chinese university students is negatively correlated with their English achievement.Moreover,students with multiple approaches to expose themselves to English culture and people show a significantly lower level of anxiety in the classroom than those with simple classroom learning background.
