Title: Curative Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Western Medicine in Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Acute Exacerbation Period and Effect on D- Two Dimer
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation period and the effect on D- two dimer. Methods: 62 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation period from January 2009 to May 2011 in our hospital were selected as the observation objects and were randomly divided into treatment group( 32 cases) and control group( 30 cases). The control group were given conventional low flow oxygen therapy,anti- infection, spasmolysis, phlegm cough and fluid replacement and the treatment group on the basis of control group were given Qingfei Huatan Quyu Decoction. The effect and the influence on D- two dimmer were compared. Results: The total effective rate in treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). The improvement of PaO2and PaCO2,D- two dimers and pulmonary function in the treatment group was significantly better than those of the control group and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: The treatment of Qingfei Huatan Quyu Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation period has the curative effects and the decrease of D- two dimer was significantly higher than that of the western medicine and it can improve the quality of life of patients and is worthy of clinical promotion.
