Title: Weilikang and H_2-receptor blocker in combination with antibiotic in the treatment of active peptic ulcer
Abstract: Objective: To study the efficacy and safety of weilikang in treatment of active peptic ulcer. Methods: 74 patients with active peptic ulcer were at random divided into two groups: experimental group(36) and control group(38). Experimental group received weilikang Cimetidinum and Armocilin, and control group recieved liutanglu and others. Both took for 4 weaks. Results: After 4 weeks?treatment, healing rate. and effective rate of experimental group were 94.4% and 97.2%, and those of control group were 94.8% and 97.4%(P0.05). Conclusions: In the study, weilikang producea healing rate equivalent to control group in active peptic ulcer and achieved the same symptoms relieving rate.Weilikang was well tolerated.
