Title: Experimental research on burning rate change of composite propellant under strain
Abstract: A device was designed to measure burning rate of composite propellant under strain.The burning rate of three formula composite propellant were measured under different pressure and stress-strain with the device.The measured data was analyzed.The results show that the burning rate of the composite propellant used in this paper increases with strain increasing during 0%~20%,but no mutation.The binder of composite propellant under strain produces a certain amount of tiny voids and porosity,which increases its burning rate.Under the same strain condition,the burning rate of propellant with more solid component changes more intensely.
