Title: Investigation on Clinical Effect of Shuxuening Injection for Ischemic Apoplexy (Cerebral Infarction) on 60 Cases
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Shuxuening Injection (Folium Ginkgo extract preparation, SXN) for ischemic apoplexy (cerebral infarction). Methods: 92 patients with ischemic apoplexy were randomly divided into the therapeutic group (Group A, 60 cases) and the control group (Group B, 32 cases). Group A was treated by IV drip of SXN 25mL in 500mL of 0.9% physiological soline. Group B was treated by IV drip of Jinnaduo Injection 25mL in 500mL of 0.9% Physiological saline. Both groups were given drugs once a day, 15 days constituting a single therapeutic course. The study was carried out by using the double blind contrast method. Results: The effective rate of SXN was 90%. There was no obvious difference in effective rate between Group A and Group B ( P 0.05). The limbs articulation and combination functions before and after treatment were evaluated and compared. Both groups had obvious significance. SXN showed a remarkable effect for wind phlegm static blood and impediment of vital energy stagnating at main channel, also for qi vacuity blood stasis. Conclusion: SXN has been used for the treatment of ischemic apoplexy with favorable results.
