Title: Investigation on Clinical Curative Effect of Ginaton Injection (Extract of Folium Ginkgo) for Ischemic Stroke (Cerebral Infarction) on 100 Cases
Abstract: The experiment results showed that Ginaton Injection, composed of the extract of Folium Ginkgo, possessed the improvement on the action disturbance of higher cerebral function induced by cerebral blood depletion. In this experiment, 100 patients suffering from cerebral infarction were given Ginaton Injection by intravenous drip, 70mg per day for 2 successive treatment courses. The curative effect was satisfactory. The effective rate was 85%. And 50 patients suffering from cerebral infarction, as the control group, were given compound Danshen Injection by intravenous drip, 20ml per day. The curative results showed a significant statistic meaning. There were considerable differences in language, lower and upper extremity joints and combination function before and after treatment between treatment group and control group. According to the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine, Ginaton Injection was particularly advisable for the patients with stagnation of blood circulation by qi deficiency or wind phlegm.
