Title: Spatial-temporal variation of sunshine percentages in Henan province from 1961 to 2008
Abstract: The research on spatial-temporal pattern of sunshine percentage is one of important indices, which can measure regional distribution of solar energy and its temporal changes.Based on the monthly sunshine percentages of seventeen national meteorological stations in Henan Province during fourteen years from 1961 to 2008,the spatial and temporal variations of sunshine percentages are studied. The result shows that the sunshine percentage of Henan Province has steadily decreased on average 9.72 percents from 51.90% of 1961—1970 to 42.18% of 2001—2008.In the monthly,it is only in both January and December that the sunshine percentage is decreasing so clearly that there are extreme significance in almost meteorological stations(P 0.01),whereas not so much distinctness are found in the other months. But,there is only April whose trend of sunshine percentage change is increasing while the sunshine percentages tend to decrease in other months. In the seasonally, there is a decreasing trend in summer and winter from 1961 to 2008,and more importance is extremely significant in the most of meteorological stations. Most interestingly, there is no most obvious variation trend of sunshine percentage for the last fifty years only in higher elevation stations, including Luanchuan station,Lushi station,Xixia station and Mengjin station.
