Title: Detection and Analysis of Drug Sensitivity of Mycoplasma in 965 Patients with Nongonococcal Urethritis from STD Clinic
Abstract: Objective To investigate the situation of urogenital mycoplasma infection and drug sensitivity in patients from STD clinic. Methods The mycoplasma diagnostic kit was used for culture, identification and antibiotics sensitivity test of mycoplasma in the samples from the 965 patients with NGU.Results The positivity of 436 samples from 965 samples for mycoplasma culture was confirmed(45.18%). Among 436 positive samples,333 patients infected with mycoplasma were cultivated as ureaplasma urealyticum(UU) infection(34.51%),28 samples were mycoplasma hominis(MH)(2.90%),75 samples were found as positivity of UU+MH(7.77%). The positivity of UU detection was significantly higher than MH(P0.01). The detection rate of mycoplasma in female was higher than that in male (P0.01). Minocyclin, doxycycline, clarithromycin, josamycin and azithromycin were more effective drugs against UU infection. Minocyclin and doxycyclin were more effective against both MH infection and mixed infection with UU and MH.Conclusions The urogenital mycoplasma infection results mainly from UU infection in patients in Huizhou. Minocyclin and doxycyclin are the first line drugs for urogenital mycoplasma infection in Huizhou.
