Title: Research on the Gas-liquid Equilibrium Condition in the Test of Benzene,Toluene and Xylenes in Water Sample with Gas Chromatographic
Abstract: The determination method of benzene,toluene and xylene was established with gas liquid equilibrium——capillary gas chromatography with FID detection,and some parameters such as chromatography condition,gas/liquid equilibrium condition(different temperatures,times of oscillation and sampling frequency) were found in the test.The result indicated that the test of three compounds was done in 11 min.The retention time of benzene,toluene and xylene was 2.622 8 min,3.962 3 min and 7.110 1 min,respectively.The correlation coefficient of the method was 0.960 965~0.997 645 between l mg/L and 100 mg/L.The recovery and the relative standard deviation of the method were 86.7%~112.0 % and 3.37%~11.36%,respectively.The method was simple,sensitive and suitable for determination of benzene series in drinking water.
