Title: ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS OF THINPREP LIQUID BASED CYTOLOGY TEST IN 4128 PATIENTS
Abstract: [Objective]To assess the value of thinprep liquid based cytological test(TCT)in diagnosis of cervical lesion.[Methods]4 128 cases of cervical lesions were detected with TCT.The samples of atypical squamous cells(ASC)and samples more severe than ASC lesions were classified into postive cytology, and then the cytological results of cervical biopsies were compared with pathological examination results.[Results]The satisfactory rate of TCT samples was 97.8%,and the postive rate of abnormal epithelial cells diagnosed by TCT was 11.02%. Among the 455 cases, there were 6 cases(0.15%)of CA,34 cases(0.82%)of HSIL,166 cases(4.02%)of LSIL,25 cases(0.61%)of ASC-H and 224(5.43%)of ASCUC and AGUS. 400 cases with postive cytologic results received pathological examination. The coincident rate of the results by two examination methods was 100% for CA,88.23% for HSIL,56.30% for LSIL,and 29.16% for ASC-H. The pathological positive rate of ASCUS and AGUS were 13.93%.[Conclusion]TCT is an useful method for cervical cancer screening, which can be adopted combined with biopsy under colposcopy to early discovering of pre-cancer diseases in time.
