Title: Survey and analysis of antibacterial agents' application for obstetrics and gynecology patients during perioperative period
Abstract: Objective To investigate the prophylactic use of antimicrobial agents for obstetrics and gynecology patients during perioperative period in this hospital,and evaluate the rationality of drug use.Methods 287 obstetrics and gynecology patients in perioperative period were randomly chosen in this hospital in 2010,and the antibacterial agents′ application in obstetrics and gynecology operation was statistically analyzed by designed forms of investigation and evaluation.Results All of the 287 patients received antibiotics,which involved 7 categories and 23 varieties.The antibiotics alone,two and triple together were 83(28.92%),192(66.90%) and 12(4.18%) retspectively.Of 204 cases(71.08%) which were joint usage,the most common form was cephalosporins and nitroimidazole.271(94.42%) cases was invoved in irrationaly use with a too long medication time after operation,and the average treatment duration was(6.04±0.62)d.Conclusion The antibacterial agents′ application for obstetrics and gynecology patients during perioperative period in this hospital still exists shortness.We should strengthen the management of antibacterial agents use,regulate the usage during perioperative period,and the clinical pharmacists should involve in individualized drug administration programs,so as to the improve the rational use of antibiotics in this hospital.
