Title: The application of CT perfusion pre-and post-bypass surgery for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases
Abstract: Objective To investigate the application of CT perfusion in the bypass surgery for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases. Methods CT perfusion imaging was performed in the patients of two groups before and after operation, who accepted bypass surgery for ischemic cerebrovascular disease. The final results were analyzed by statistics. Results The cerebral blood flow( CBF) and cerebral blood volume( CBV) in the affected side of most patients in two groups were decreased and time to peak( TTP) prolonged before treatment, which was consistent with indication of bypass operation. Postoperative relative cerebral blood flow( rCBF) of all patients were improved obviously, which indicated the significant effect of bypass in improving the cerebral blood flow in ischemic region; postoperative relative cerebral blood volume( rCBV) of moyamoya group was higher than that of preoperation, but the diversity of rCBV in non-moyamoya group was not obvious; postoperative relative time to peak( rTTP) of moyamoya group was shorter than that of preoperation, but the diversity of rTTP of non-moyamoya group was not obvious. Conclusion The results of CT perfusion are the important indication of surgical treatment for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases; CT perfusion is valuable in evaluating therapeutic effect of surgical treatment for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases.
