Title: Randomized controlled trial on the efficacy of Yiqiqubai granule to vitiligo
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the treatment efficacy and safety of Yiqiqubai granule to vitiligo. Methods Total of 200 vitiligo patients were randomized divided into Yiqiqubai treatment group and control group with 100 patients in each group. The patients in treatment group took Yiqiqubai granule twice a day with 22 g each time. The patients in control group took Baishi tablet three times a day with 5 tablets each time. After 12 months treatment, the efficacy and safety were evaluated. Results The effective rate of treatment group and control group were 52.0% and 41.0% respectively, and there is no significant difference between two groups. No severe adverse effects have been observed. Conclusion Yiqiqubai granule is effective to vitiligo. It can decrease VIDA with no obvious adverse effects.
