Title: Study of the Correlation Between Serum P/E2 and Pregnancy Outcome of IVF/ ICSI-ET on the 5th Day after Embryo Transfer
Abstract: Objective To investigate the predictive value of serum progesterone and estrogen ratio( SP /E2) to pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization / intracytoplasmic sperm injection( IVF / ICSI-ET) on the fifth day after embryo transfer. Method By collecting and analyzing the transfer cycle data of patients receiving IVF-ET long protocol ovulation induction in vitro fertilization( IVF) / intracytoplasmic sperm injection( ICSI). According to the outcome of pregnancy after transfer, these data were divided into pregnant group( 300 cases, including live intrauterine fetal and adverse pregnancy outcomes) and non pregnancy group( 380 cases). Then blood was taken and serum levels of estradiol( E2) and progesterone( P) were checked on the fifth day after transfer. Results On the fifth day of transfer, the values of E2,P,P / E2 of pregnancy group were 648. 3 ± 309. 4,90. 6 ± 61. 8,159. 4 ± 106. 7,which were significantly lower than those of the non pregnant group,P 0. 05. Conclusion On the fifth day after transfer, appropriate proportion of estrogen and progesterone is associated with the pregnancy outcome of transfer.
