Title: Origins of English Mixed-languages and Conceptual Differentiations
Abstract: The phenomenon of linguistic hybridization is much attributed to historical factors in the language origin, and which,to a great extent,is a linguistic outcome on conditions of specific social systems. In this case, the author in this thesis tries to choose one kind of mixed-language,the Pidgin English,as a case to explore several sayings of its origin:compromising,self-respecting and power-imposing.The author also points out kinds of variables in the course of linguistic hybridization and differentiates similar conceptual aspects.
