Title: Vasoactive intestinal peptide and cholecystokinin in serum of rat spleen deficiency model and the intervention effect of Sijunzi Decoction
Abstract: Objective To investigate the changes of vasoactive intestinal peptide( VIP) and cholecystokinin( CCK) in serum of rat spleen deficiency model and intervention effect of sijunzi decoction,to explore the mechanism of gastrointestinal motor. Methods The rat model of spleen deficiency were established, and all the rats were divided randomly into four groups as following, the normal, model, sijunzi decoction and Mosapride. And the contents of VIP and CCK in serum of rats were measured with Elisa kit. Results The contents of VIP( 28. 60 ± 41. 88) in rats serum of model group decreased evidently, compared with the normal group( 51. 55 ± 16. 22),the difference was statistically significant( P 0.05). The contents of CCK( 3. 55 ± 2. 53) increased evidently in rats serum of model group, compared with the normal group( 2. 05 ± 0. 67),the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). After the treatment, the contents of VIP(57.51 ±13.25) in rats serum of sijunzi decoction group were higher than that in model group( P0.05),the contents of VIP( 61. 63 ±27. 46) in rats serum of Mosapride group were also higher than that in model group( P 0. 05). The contents of CCK( 2. 29 ±0. 81) inrats serum of sijunzi decoction group were lower than that in model group( P 0. 05). Conclusion The sijunzi decoction could regulate the gastrointestinal hormone of spleen deficiency rats,so as to correct tstomach and intestinal disorders, which was one of the mechanisms of sijunzi decoction treating spleen deficiency syndrome.
