Title: Shengmai injection in treatment of myocardium injury of patients with cor pulmonale
Abstract: AIM: To observe the clinical effect of Shengmai injection for the myocardium injury of patients with chronic cor pulmonale. METHODS: Sixty patients with chronic cor pulmonale were divided into two groups: the treatment group of 30 patients and the control group of 30 patients. All patients in both groups were treated with the same routine therapy, and the treatment group combined with Shengmai injection 40 mL in 5 % glucose injection 250 mL, iv, gtt, qd. The activity of serum HBDH, LDH 1, CPK MB, the cardiac function(SV,CO,CI,EF), and the total effective rates (electrocardiogram and symptom) were observed before and after treatment. RESULTS: After treatment, the activity of serum HBDH, LDH 1, CPK MB in the Shengmai group and the control group which were (166± s 27),(51±14),(19±7) U·L -1 and (218±31),(79±21),(28±8) U·L -1 , respectively, was decreased significantly. The decreasing rate of the Shengmai group was more remarkable, compared with that of the control group ( P 0.01). Meantime, the cardiac function which apparently improved in two groups after therapy was better in the Shengmai group than that in the control group. There were no statistical differences in the total effective rates in relieving symptom and improving the ECG between two groups ( P 0.05) . CONCLUTION: Shengmai injection has protective actions on the myocardium injury of patients with chronic cor pulmonale.
