Title: Clinical research on lipid level and serum homocysteine level in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease
Abstract: Objective To investigate the levels of lipids and serum Hcy,as well as the clinical values in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease( ICVD). Methods Eighty patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease( including 38 patients with transient ischemic attacks and 42 patients with cerebral infarction) as the study group, and 40 cases of healthy persons as control group were involved to detect the levels of serum Hcy,triacylglycerol( TG),total cholesterol( TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol( HDL- C) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol( LDL- C),and the detection results were compared between the two groups to analyze the correlation between Hcy and other indicators. Results The levels of Hcy,TG in ICVD patients were significantly higher than the control group( P 0. 01). While there was no statistical difference in levels of HDL- C,TC and LDL- C between ICVD group and the control group( P 0. 05); The Hcy levels had no significant correlation with serum lipid levels. Conclusion High levels of Hcy and TG are risk factors of ischemic cerebrovascular disease onset,so regular monitoring of Hcy and TG has important clinical significance for prevention, diagnosis and prognosis of ICVD.
