Title: Research on Area Regression Estimation for Jinguang Prunus mume var. bungo
Abstract: The relationships between leaf length,leaf width and leaf area were studied in this paper by using the mature leaves of Jinguang P.mume var.bungo.The results showed that there were significantly positive correlations between leaf length and leaf area with a correlation coefficient of 0.7084 at 1% level,leaf width and leaf area with a correlation coefficient of 0.8546.The multiple correlation between leaf length,leaf width and leaf area was 0.9868 and significant at 1% level too.Then the regression models for estimating the Jinguang P.mume var.bungo leaf area were established as y(leaf area)=61.4140x1(leaf length)-2480.6,y=28.7600x2(leaf width)-0.8546,y=17.6276x1+41.2594x2-1 078.4906.The regression equation of leaf area on leaf length and leaf width was the most precise method of the three for estimating the leaf area.The regression models should be chosen according to accurate requirement in appliance.
