Title: Effect of “Yishen Tongluo Formula” on vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in diabetes model induced by STZ
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect ofYishen Tongluo Formulaon the levels of ET,NO,TXB2and 6-keto-PGF1αin diabetes induced by STZ in rats.Methods The rats were randomly divided into model group,puerarin group,low dose of Yishen Tongluo Formulagroup,large dose of Yishen Tongluo Formulagroup and normal control group. After 6 weeks intervention,the body weight,blood glucose and the contents of NO,ET,TXB2,6-Keto-PGF1αin blood plasma were detected. Results Compared with normal control group,the weight of rats in model group was obviously reduced,the content of ET and TXB2were increased,and the content of NO and 6-Keto-PGF1αwere decreased(P 0. 05,P 0. 01). Compared with model group,weight of rats,the contents of NO and6-Keto-PGF1αin large dose group was increased,and the contents of ET and TXB2in high dose group were decreased markedly(P 0. 05,P 0. 01); the ET content was decreased,6-Keto-PGF1αcontent was increased(P 0. 01); the FBG and the contents of ET and TXB2were decreased,but the 6-Keto-PGF1αcontent was increased in puerarin group,with significant difference between puerarin group and model group(P 0. 05,P 0. 01). Compared with puerarin group,the contents of ET and TXB2in large dose group were reduced significantly(P 0. 05). Conclusion Yishen Tongluo Formulacan protect the vascular endothelial function by improving the contents of NO,ET,TXB2and 6-Keto-PGF1α.
