Title: The Curative Effects of α-lb Interferon Treated in Hepatitis B and the Relationship Between It and Serum IL-12
Abstract: To explore the relationship between effects of interferon alfa lb (IFN α lb) treated in the patients with chronic hepatitis B and serum interleukin 12 (IL 12) level Serum IL 12 level in 36 patients with chronic hepatitis treated with interferon alfa lb (IFN α lb) was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method IL 12 levels after IFN α lb therapy were significantly higher than that befer IFN α lb therapy IL 12 levels in the responders groups (HBV clearance and HBeAg/anti HBe serum interchange) were significantly higher than that nonresponders groups IL 12 could enhancd the development of TH1 cells and was an important cytokines of anti HBV So it is one of a good predictor of patients with chronic hepatitis with IFN α lb by monitoring IL 12 level
