Title: Characteristics of Geophysical and Geochemical anomalies and Ore-search Prospect in the Wuchagou area,Inner Mongolia
Abstract: This work is based on the verification to geophysical and geochemical anomalies on a scale 1:10 000 and ore-formation rules of polymetallic ores in the southern metallogenic belt of the Daxing'an Mountain range,Inner Mongolia. We have made a detailed analysis on the characteristics of geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the Wuchagou area, and suggested that these geophysical and geochemical anomalies can be classified into two types. One is dominated by metallogenic elements Pb,Zn,and Ag with the element combination of Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag,Bi,Sn,Au,As,Sb,and Hg,generally featured by low resistivity and high polarization.Another takes Mo as the main metallogenic element with simple element combination mainly of Mo and W family, and other elements such as Sn,Bi,and Pb which are scattered among them, generally characterized by high resistivity and high polarization.Through analysis on geophysical and geochemical anomalies and in combination with the geologic features,we suggest a metallogenic model, analyze the prospect of ore exploration to polymetallic ores Pb,Zn,and Ag of the pneumatolytic-hydrothermal type,or Cu,Mo ores of the porphyry type, and propose the direction of ore search in this area.
