Title: An Application Study of Grammatical Metaphor in Translation
Abstract: According to the grammatical metaphor of Halliday, there are congruent and metaphorical forms in meaning expressions. Based on the different translated versions of Hong Loumeng, this paper discusses the application study of congruent and metaphorical forms in translation and points out that there is no one-to-one relationship between form and meaning in the process of translation. So the translators are faced with different translated versions, that is , the congruent form or the metaphorical form. Both forms can express the meanings and functions in the same context, while the translated version is determined by the subjectivity of the translators. Thus we will have articles with different styles.
