Title: Problems and Countermeasures for English Learning of First-year Non-English Majors in College
Abstract: When the students influenced by the teaching methods in the senior middle school, enter the college, they can’t cultivate their ability to study independently at college as to not to do well in English learning. This paper aims to study and analysis the current situation in English learning of 84 first-year non-English majors in Xiangfan University, and suggestions are then given as to how to improve the teaching effect.
