Title: The analysis of the relationship between serum homocysteine(HCY) and chemistries in patients of coronary heart disease
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between serum HCY levels and chemistries in patients of coronary heart disease. Methods Serum HCY levels and chemistries were studied in 263 CHD patients and 152 controls. Results ①In comparison all patients with normal serum:the concentrations of HCY,UN,SCr,UA,FBG,TG,HDL-C,CK,LDH,hsCRP,FA,VitB12 were significantly different:P0.01;②The concentrations of HCY were higher in CHD,the group of CHD and hypertension than in controls P0.01.There was significant difference between the two groups P0.05;③The patients were divided into two groups:3 lesions and 3 lesions. The levels of HCY were markedly higher than in controls P0.01;④The patients were divided into three groups:UAP,AMI and CMI.The levels of HCY were markedly higher than in controls P0.01;⑤Levels of HCY with Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ classes hypertensive patients were markedly higher than in controls P0.01;⑥UN,VitB12,history of hypertension, sex,TG,FBG,LDH changed according to orders when HCY was dependent.R=0.519,R2=0.27,P0.01;⑦There were relations between HCY and UN,SCr,UA,TG,HDL-C,CK,LDH,VitB12,FA.The relative coefficient were:r=0.318,0.29,0.313,0.162,-0.217,0.149,0.162,-0.153,-0.138.Conclusion It strongly suggests that to monitor and control the plasma concentrations of HCY and other chemistries in patients with CHD have an active clinical meaning to diagnose and treat CHD.
