Title: Study on Inverse Emulsion Copolymerization of Acrylamide and (2-Methacryloyloxyethyl) Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride
Abstract: The inverse emulsion copolymerization of (2-methacryloyloxyethyl)trimethyl ammonium chloride with acrylamide had been studied. Aqueous monomers solution were emulsified in white oil with a blend of two surfactants (Span80 and Tween or OP10). The effects of surfactants composition and concentration, type and amount of initators, ratio of oil to aqueous phase, monomers composition and concentration in aqueous phase upon average molecular weight of cationic polyacrylamide were discussed.
