Title: Computer simulation of the fraunhofer diffraction experiments by using Maple software
Abstract: In this paper,starting from the Huygens-Fresnel principle,we get intensity distribution expressions of light on the single slit,rectangle aperture and circular aperture Fraunhofer diffractions.Based on Maple,Fraunhofer diffraction experiments of single slit,rectangle aperture and circular aperture were simulated.The results show that diffraction patterns and light intensity distribution curves of these diffraction experiments are delicate and distinct.In addition,the impacts of several parameters upon the diffraction patters have been discussed in some detail,which make whole physical process object and are consistent with the results of actual experiments.This work provides an excellent means for digital simulation of modern optical experiments.
