Title: Research on the synthesis of UV curable tetra-functional acrylate resin with star-shaped structure
Abstract: A new acrylate with star-shaped structure was synthesized by the reaction of 2,4-toluene diisocyanate(2,4-TDI),pentaerythritol and hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA).The acrylates had stable performance,good mechanical properties,its aw material was low cost and was easily obtained,meanwhile it hadwide-range use and was suitable for indus-trial production.The influence of reaction temperature,reaction time and ratio of monomers on the synthesis of the UV curable resin was discussed. The optimum reaction conditions were as follows:the reaction temperature 45-50 ℃,with reaction time 80 min in the first step,and the reaction temperature in the second step 65-70 ℃ with the reaction time 60 min;the optimum molar ratio of pentaerythritol/TDI/HEA 1/4/4.08.The synthetic method was simple,reaction condition was mild,easily controlled and production process was cleaner.
