Title: Study on the Relationship between in Stage of Hepatic Fibrosis and the Levels of Serum Biochemistry
Abstract: To study the relationship between the degree of hepatic fibrosis and serum fibrosis markers.
MetholS: Liver biopsies were performed in 67 patients with hepatitis. The sections stained with hematoxylin eosin stain and immunohistochemistry stain. The different stages of hepatic fibrosis were confirmed by microscopy. Serum levels of hyaluronic acid (HA), type Ⅲ procollagen (PC Ⅲ ) , laminin (LN),and type Ⅳcollagen (ⅣC)were detected by radioim-munoassay. Results: Serum levels of HA, PC Ⅲ, LN and ⅣC were elevated due to the increase of hepatic fibrosis (from S1→S4) and reached the highest levels in S4. The results also showed that serum concentration of HA, PC 333333 , LN and ⅣC were increased parallel with the progression of disease, and reached the highest concentration in liver cirrhosis. Conclusion: The different stages of hepatic fibrosis were good correlated with serum levels of HA、 PC Ⅲ 、LN、 ⅣC. these 4 serum markers may play a role in diagonosing hepatic fibrosis degree.
