Title: Experimental Study on Detecting the Pesticide Residues in Vegetables By Attenuated Total Reflect Ion Infrared Spectroscopy
Abstract: [Objective] The purpose was to supply theoretical basis for the application of attenuated total reflect ion infrared spectroscopy(ATR/FTIR) in detecting the pesticide residues in vegetables.[Method] The feasibility of applying ATR/FTIR technique in detecting the pesticide residues in vegetables was studied through directly detecting the pesticide residues in vegetables by this technique.[Result] The infrared spectrums of pakchoi,Chinese cabbage and round cabbage were relatively similar, that of chives, scallion and garlic were similar. The infrared spectrums of tomato had some difference from that of the other vegetables in characteristic zones.Cypermethrin showed apical and moderately strong rocking vibration at 916 cm-1 and biopesticide had absorption peak without disturbance at 906 cm-1,but pakchoi leaves produced no absorption peak here. The linear equations of cypermethrin and biopesticide were y=1.423x-0.002 and y=30.555x-0.473 resp.and their lowest detection limits were 0.01 and 0.12 mg.All the linear correlations got from detection on the same pesticide on the leaves of different vegetables by ATR/FTIR technique were relatively satisfactory.[Conclusion] The application of ATR technique in analyzing the pesticide residues in vegetables had some feasibility and universality.
