Title: Study on synthesis of fluorinated acrylic copolymer emulsion and properties of films
Abstract: The fluorinated acrylate emulsion is prepared using core-shell emulsion polymerization technology. Several effect factors such as content of hexafluorobutyl methacrylate(HFMA) composite emulsifier system initiator N-hydroxymethylacryiamide (NMA) copolymerization temperature and time stirring rate on monomer conversion and the polymerization stability are investigated. Also the water absorption of film and emulsion viscosity is measured so as to study the water resistance of film. The composite and structure of emulsion films are characterized by FT-IRand the results show that HFMA monomer effectively integrated with acrylate copolymer by graft copolymerization.
