Title: Research on Promotion of Efficiency of Hi-tech Industries From Perspective of Total Factor Productivity——Based on Empirical Analysis of Panel Data of Five Industries
Abstract: This paper analyzes the total factor productivity and technical efficiency using the nonparametric Malmquist index approach based on panel data of industry from 2000-2008.The results show:The TFP growth rate of hi-tech industries is mostly promoted by technical progress,in addition, there are many differences of Malmquist index among five industries and the ability of independent innovation is a little weaker relatively. Finally, this paper proposes some policy recommendations including optimizing allocation of resources and improving independent innovation system,in order to promote the efficiency of high-tech industries and implement the self-dependent innovation strategy.
