Results:The expression of NF-κB in diabetic rat was higher than that of normal control, number of positive cells expressing NF-κB in renal tissue of diabetic rat showed a strong correlation with renal function and urine protein. Lotensin significantly inhibited the expression of NF-κB and improved renal function partly.Conclusion:NF-κB may play an important role in the pathogenesis of diabetic rat and the number of positive expressing NF-κB cells may be considered as a predictor of progressive renal injury in diabetic rat.Read More
