Title: The expressions of TopoII,PCNA and p53 in colorectal carcinoma tissues and their clinical significance
Abstract: Objective To study the expressions of TopoⅡ,PCNA and p53 in colorectal carcinoma tissues and their clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry method was used to analyze the expression of TopoⅡ,PCNA and p53 in 71 cases of colorectal carcinoma. Results Positive expression rates of TopoⅡ,PCNA and p53 in 71 cases of colorectal carcinoma were 66.2%,84.5%and 43.7%respectively.The expression of TopoⅡwas related to patient′s age, infiltration of intestinal cavity and infiltration of intestinal wall(P all0.05).The expression of PCNA was correlated with lymph node metastasis, location of tumors, distal metastasis and the Duks stage(P all0.05).The expression of p53 was correlated with the histological grades and infiltration of intestinal wall(P all0.05).Conclusions Combined detection of expressions of TopoⅡ,PCNA and p53 in colorectal carcinoma tissues has practical value in the evaluation of prognosis and therapeutic effects of colorectal carcinoma patients.
