Abstract:Taking rectangular aluminum alloy profile as an example, the stress field, velocity field and temperature field of the aluminum alloy profile die with three different groups of porthole bridge structu...Taking rectangular aluminum alloy profile as an example, the stress field, velocity field and temperature field of the aluminum alloy profile die with three different groups of porthole bridge structure were numerically simulated by using the HyperXtrude software with arbitrary Largrang-Euler algorithm during the stable extrusion condition. The results show that, using the six word porthole bridge structure, stress distribution is the most uniform and the equilibration of flow velocity is the best. Finally, the optimized scheme of lower die bearing was adjusted, which can ensure the more good quality of products.Read More
