Title: Clinical investigation of intraoperative autologous callbacked blood transfusion
Abstract: Objective: To discuss the safety and efficacy of intraoperative autologous reclaimed blood transfusion. Methods: Fifty-two patients estimated more than 600ml blood loss during operation were selected,using Cell Saver 5 Blood Recover System.The blood was collected from intraoperative,and transfused back to the patients after treatment.The serum eletrolytes,Hb,Hct,blcod gas analysis were measured before hemorrhage and intraoperative as well as after being infused with the blood. Results: 2196±620ml blood was collected per patient during operation and 1264±418ml concentrated blood cells were infused into the patients.Eighty-two point seven percent of patients did not need banked blood infusion during and after operation.Hb and Hct decreased significantly after blood infusion.K + changed significantly after blood infusion.Blood gas had few changes. Conclusion: Technique of intraperative autologous callbacked blood transfusion is safe and effective,and saving blood.
