Title: Can Autologous Blood Transfusion Used in Cardiac Surgery Conserve Blood
Abstract: Objective To discuss the influence of autologous blood transfusion used in cardiac surgery on the consumption of blood and drainage volume of patients after operation. Methods 66 patients received selective surgery were divided into two groups:autologous blood transfusion group(experiment 1 and 2 group) and non-autologous blood transfusion group(control group) according to the volume of autologous blood transfusion.Experiment 1 and 2 group collected the lost blood during operation using 3000 p blood collector, and transfused to the patients directly through filtration, centrifugation and washing.Make respective statistics on allogeneic blood volume and pericardium, mediastinal drainage after operation, and collect venous blood at 24 h before and after operation, and then test blood rountie(Hb,Hct and Plt). Results For the patients with the volume of autologous blood transfusion800 ml(experiment 1 group) allogeneic blood volume and pericardium, mediastinal drainage after operation significantly decreased compared to control group(P0.05);there was no significant difference on Hb and Hct of the patients in autologous blood transfusion group(experiment 1 and 2 group) compared to those before operation(P0.05),recovering to normal levels. Conclusion Autologous blood transfusion used in cardiac surgery could significantly decreased the allogeneic blood volume, thus conserving blood for clinical use.
