Title: Subjective sleep quality and depression in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome
Abstract: 【Objective】To explore the correlation between subjective sleep quality and depression in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).【Method】One hundred and fourteen patients with OSAHS confirmed by an all-night(7h) polysomnogram(PSG) were evaluated by Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) and Beck depression inventory(BDI).【Result】 The total mean scores of PSQI for the patients with OSAHS was(7.01±3.07).The rate of PSQI7 was about 38.6%.The average BDI score was(8.29±6.46).There were close correlations between PSQI and BDI(r =0.4760.476,P 0.01).【Conclusion】 OSAHS patients exhibit poor sleep quality,and the some patients are with depression symptoms.The subjective sleep quality is related closely to depression.
