Title: Robust Tuning Based IMC in a Smith Predictor Confuguration
Abstract: Process time delay and parameter uncertainty are the major cause for unsatisfactory perform.To solve this problem and achieve smooth control,in this paper,a approach is presented based on a new parameter tuning with robust performance indexλ.The first Talyor is used for the approximation of time delay,deriving parameters of operator with Smith predictor structure,which are linked to dynamic and robust performance closely.By the new robust performance index,the expression of only adjustable parameter βand λis worked out,and the compensation αamends tunning error.The simulation shows that the method can gain good smooth control and robust performance,able to overcome the unsatisfactory perform led by process time delay and parameter uncertainty.
