Title: Analysis of Starting Process and Fuel Quality of a Diesel Engine Using Electronically-controlled a High Pressure Common-Rail System
Abstract: Based on starting characteristic of traditional diesel engine, the starting demands of electronic controlled diesel engine are analyzed. The starting control logic in the electronic controlled diesel engine is established with the help of electronic control unit in high pressure common rail. The fuel quality supplied during starting process is calculated by MAP method, and its adjustment is made with the ramp function. Finally, the starting control system in high pressure common rail diesel engine is designed.
