Title: Progress in Identifying the Diagnostic Value of Biomarkers to Acute Coronary Syndrome
Abstract: Acute coronary syndrome( ACS) is a clinical syndrome for which the pathological basis is a coronary atherosclerotic plaque rupture or erosion, with a secondary complete or incomplete thrombotic occlusion, which also may include a series of clinical symptoms including unstable angina,non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.Coronary plaque inflammation is a major factor leading to the plaque instability that causes ACS.The rapid and accurate diagnosis of ACS,combined with timely intervention helps reduce the incidence of adverse events in patients. This review examines the biomarkers involved in the various pathological processes of ACS in order to understand and compare the diagnostic value of those biomarkers in the treatment of ACS.
