Title: Electrocatalytic reduction of nitric oxide on myoglobin modified electrode
Abstract: Myoglobin modified glassy carbon electrode is prepared by electrochemical deposition and shows significant catalytic effects on electrochemical reduction of nitric oxide. In pH 4.0 HOAc-NaOAc buffer solution, the reduction peak of NO occurs at - 0. 68V (vs. SCE). The effects of pH, concentration of NaNO2 and other variables on the catalytic behavior of the Mb modified electrode have been studied. Furthermore, the mechanism of the electrocatalysis has also been studied.
