Title: Preparation and Properties of Styrene-acrylic Emulsion Modified by Organofluorine-silicone
Abstract: Styrene-acrylic emulsion was prepared with N-alyl-perfluoropentyl sulfonamide, styrene, butyl acrylate, acrylic acid and vinyltriethoxysilane(VTES) by polymerization.Polymerization temperature, dosage of the water and fluorine-silicon monomer were discussed. The results showed that the property and stability of modification emulsion were high compared with ordinary styrene-acrylic emulsion in conditions of using pre-emulsification method,3% reactive emulsifier,1.6% silicone and 1% fluorine containing monomer, and reaction temperature at 75~80℃ for 5~6 h.The water absorption and surface tension of the emulsion film decreased dramatically.
